WELCOME TO GLACIER BAY, ALASKA

Two hundred years ago, Captain George Vancouver visited Glacier Bay and observed it to be a large open bay, blocked at its northern end by a giant wall of ice. The ice, since then, has been slowly receding, revealing a waterway 65 miles long, filled with fjords and inlets..
Today we'll be visting several stunning glaciers. You'll witness them "calving" and, if we're lucky, you'll be able to spot seals, whales, porpoises, mountain goats, bears and eagles - all of whom make their home in Glacier Bay.
US Park Service Rangers will be providing narration over the ship's PA system as we cruise Glacier Bay. You can hear them on all outside decks, in TopDeck Lounge, and on Channel 51 of your cabin television.
Please join us on the outside
decks to enjoy the fabulous natural
beauty of the glaciers and experience the legendary "White Thunder".
Please remember that the weather may be colder than you think - so
bring a warm jacket!
